What you’ll need:

  1. Aluminum foil
  2. A dish or container
  3. Boiling water
  4. 1 tablespoon of baking soda for each cup of water
  5. A soft cloth

 

What you’ll do:

  1. Bring water to a boil
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda per cup of water - you’ll see a bit of bubbling and fizzing
  3. Line your container with aluminium foil, shiny side up
  4. Place the silver jewellery in the container, make sure it touches the aluminium foil
  5. Pour the solution of baking soda and boiling water into container
  6. Let sit for 2 to 10 minutes, depending on the level of tarnish

Allow it to dry with a soft cloth
